About Us
ELSabor Latino Restaurant is owned and operated by Edgar Perez and his lovely wife, Daisy. Edgar learned to work when he was 5 years old working with his father before school at 5:30 AM in Guatamala. After school he worked from 2 PM until sundown. Edgar kept up that schedule until he was 12 years old. Edgar’s family was too poor so Edgar went to Guatemala City to get job at a hotel to help out. When he still wasn’t make enough money, he was able to get help to move to the Unites States – Land of Opportunity.

Edgar started at Palm Beach Gardens High school when he was 14 years old not knowing a single word of English. In six months Edgar’s English was good enough for him to get a job at TooJay’s restaurant. He worked every single station in the restaurant washing dishes, prep, bus, cashier, deli server. He has held just about every position including bartender and manager at well known establishments such as Angelo & Maxies Steak House, The Cheese Cake Factory, Amici, and Flaggler Steak House at the famous Breakers, Palm Beach, Florida.
After working in every different type of position in everything from a One Star to a Five Star rated restaurant, Edgar finally decided to take the leap and follow his dream of opening his own restaurant – El Sabor Latino in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
His dream is now to have everyone enjoy their dining experience, the food, the music and the people in his family owned restaurant.
